6 Tips On Winter Clothes Dry Cleaning

With winter just around the corner, it is essential for you to keep your winter clothes ready as you will need them for a couple of months. If you are looking for winter clothes cleaning service in Singapore, it is essential to remember a few tips that will help you have clean woolen clothes in perfect condition.

Tip 1: Drying winter clothes during cold weather:
During winter in Singapore, your clothes would be a bit colder than usual. There will not be much sunlight in the morning to dry your clothes as it would always be chilly here. In this case, opting for a dry cleaning service in Singapore is a wise decision. This is highly advisable as improper drying of clothes would cause the material to get damaged or trigger a foul odor which would spoil the clothes in your wardrobe. Thus, a professional dry cleaning service would make sure that your winter clothes are neatly and uniformly dried without any issues.

Tip 2: Make your clothes inside out:
Some winter clothes like fleece jackets or fur clothes can be cleaned very easily if you clean them inside out. That is why you have to make sure that all your clothes are inside out before giving them to winter clothes cleaning service. In this way you will be assured that your winter garments are cleaned thoroughly and all the dirt and stains are removed perfectly.

Tip 3: Maintaining your leather or Suede coat:
Leather or Suede clothes require expert cleaning as trying to clean them on your own would spoil the material as a whole. If you have some small stains on these coats, don’t forget to use stain removal products that are especially available for these types of outfits. Otherwise, the harmful chemicals might damage the leather and the Suede garments.

Tip 4: Taking care of woolen coats:
Woolen coats are one of the most popular fashion items in the recent times and also are great choice to beat the chilly weather of Singapore. These wool coats are a bit expensive as they are made with high quality wool that is soft in nature. Cleaning them regularly and properly would make them durable and last longer. Sometimes, a little of your coffee or juice might fall on the coat accidentally. Make sure that you do not rub it off immediately. Just blot it well and then take it to a professional cleaning service because only the expert knows how to remove different types of stains.

Tip 5: Cleaning down coats:
You must take great care while cleaning down coat as the pressure applied during cleaning might dry the feathers completely. You can give it for dry cleaning twice in the winter, once at the beginning of the season and once at the end in order that your winter coat remains intact.

Tip 6: Taking care of fleece jackets:
Fleece jackets are easy to clean but the toughest part is drying them properly as they need a special method. Either you have to lay them flat or use the air drying method. For these reasons, a winter clothes cleaning service is obviously the better option.
